To put your custom bid online, you enter the particulars about the person you are bidding to as in the screen shot below.

By checking the "Allow Edit" box next to an entry (red arrow below), you allow the bid recipient to change the entry. This way, if you mistyped his name, he can correct it.

The "Req'd" box is if you require the entry, for example, some entry must be entered for a name, even if it is changed.
